Sounds like a pretty good plott to me but I might be prejudice.lol Good hunt.
x2...In my minds eye I see a pretty good dog that can do it alone...goes out finds the hog and sticks with the track...swims the river and stops the hog and stays bayed for a good while till someone shows up...then he sees the help arrive and with a little encouragement catches a nice boar hog...the only thing different I would have done is told the dog to back up and I would have shot that hog...that's a hog dog right there... but no matter...good hunt and good dogs...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

Thanks all,the ole plott dog he been doing his thing along time,i jist dont like open dogs,he starts and finishes thats a hog dog in my eyes. He is my dads dog ,came from mr. Roberts.bout 7 yrs ago,cold nose.i fixed him up good he jist had one puncture wound ,he caught ole boar like a champ.
