I don't guess it was to bad just irritates the fire out of me... Got a couple young dogs I been doing staged  hunts with half hobbled pigs. Lettin them get about 200 yards the kickin. The dogs out lettin them run the track they have done awesome so far or at least I think.   In the past I have let the dogs run around $hit and all that then loading them up   And turning them loose  and lettin them do there thing this evening I  just kicked them out. No bathroom pre time.  They took off out the box good but. Justvran around so I called them back they got on the trail and. Never  found the pig  I was not a happy camper didn't pet them or. Nothing just threw them in the box and came home.      Maybe just an off day or what I. The past they have impressed me every time Huh?Huh??Dog are 7 months and 14 months any advice

Patience.   Forget about what happened tonight and start over fresh tomorrow.

the dogs are still young, they probably need a little more practice.

was it really dry? that could have had something to do with it.

you might want to drag the pigs and leave a real good scent on the ground.

takes some dogs longer than others to finish out a track.

you never know though, it could have been an off day for them...sometimes, dogs just don't do as well as they do on other days.
