We were just about finished hunting, and walked the dogs to a small tank for water, and Hoss, the bigger dog in the pic, circled the tank, and took off into a little 2-3 acre mod of brush and started baying. As we got to the top of the tank damn, the boar had already broke and was running across an open field with the small dog from the pic (Squirt) Right on his heels. Just as squirt stopped him in the open, my buddy took a shot with his 30/30 and just barely knicked his a$$ and the boar sat down. Well Hoss decided he wanted to be a catch dog and came flying in and slammed the hog and was caught, but he was being flipped and slung pretty good, so we sent in the two catch dogs. This hog had all three dogs in the air at one point, but they held on and another buddy legged and stuck him. Pretty cool to see all of this go down in the open. Had to make a trip to the vet, but it was worth it....all dogs will be fine.
