 It took 20 yrs to get one I wanted to mount Sent him to my old collage buddy to do the work, and I'm am impressed with the picture. It will be spring before I get the mount. Said he is going to deliver him in the spring, that he was going to leave it out for display until he comes up in spring and will bring it with him, for his annual visit-hunt. |

Looks good. I don't recall seeing one mounted with his mouth closed but I really like it better than the ones I've seen with the mouth open. Honestly I have never been a big fan of the shoulder/head mount on hogs, always preferred the European mount but I really like that one with his mouth closed.

The taxidermist is a good buddy, I told him to fix me up with whatever he thought would look good. His words were (I don't like an open mouth roaring hog.) Said had mounted 450-500 and this is only 3rd closed mouth & he liked it much better. He said at base of wall hog measured 57" around. Picture doesn't do justice for size. Shane is the size of a sawed-off gorilla!
