It was bout seven when we headed out for the night. It was really cold 23• and I was thinking that we was crazy to even be out in this weather. We got the dogs on the ground and made a quick pass around a feeder, the dogs were playing around being silly, over excited I guess from the coolness. The dogs settled down and went to hunting enroute to our second feeder. Creeksus, Bird, Thor and Spot was staying out ahead round 100 yards. As we approached the feeder the dogs took off and split up, each running their nose on the ground. We could tell they was trying to figure out the track. My red Heeler mix won, 500 yards out she started baying. The other dogs responded to her, we waited for all dogs to bay up. Knew we had a strong bay so we headed that way. The pig and dogs was headed toward the water and I was hoping they would hold him till we got there with the CD cause it was freaking cold. 100 yards out we stopped to listen and released CD. We heard the dogs hit, and it was a done deal. As I pulled the catch dogs and tie them up, Chico snapped at DieselDog and the fight was on. At this time Chance had one and a half legs tied on the pig. I had both catch dogs trying to pull them apart but they was locked up doing damage to each other. Chance grabbed the rope with a half loose pig drug it towards me and the fighting dogs. He Broke diesel off and the pig jumped up to run and diesel grabbed an ear quickly. By the time this all happen we made way to much noise so we called off hunting, check out want damage was done. The pig caught Creeksus in the cut collar , cutting though his tracking collar and antenna this pig cost us some money, Chico and Diesel tore each other face up.. This pig had the ugliest curly hair , weighted 181..
