levee hunt

We started bout one,it was ed ,jr janey and my daughter candace,we get to were we going to hunt,unload and start hunting in to the wind through some nasty stuff its wet just hog sign every were,get to a ridge we cast ,dogs are xhecking everything out ,they go deep 700 yrds .next time i look there 900,still no bark,start back to us on same track loopoff wide left 200 yards zig zaging,i tell candace they will strike soon,they get even with us a 100 out,and sit a 150 pd sow down,tip was the first to open and then the rest started singing,so we haul but to them,my tip dog catches the sow.all the other dogs catch with him,i leg her and stick,pull dogs off drag them back to wheeler,load them go get hog,now nutty ant a around, look at garmin he is 88 yards on point,i take off to him,he is on the ear of another 150 pd sow are better just holding,so i leg her a buddy sticks her,good fast hunt,and good food for the freezer,just got done cleaning them.going let hang tonite.have pic just dont know bout posting

Sounds like a good fast hunt. That was too easy. U are not allowed to hunt like that. Makes the rest of us look bad.

made another round yesterday got there bout ten hunted hard for 3r4 hours,no luck sign was all over so new it was pigs some were ,had a clear cut 80 ac,with fields all around,figured to try there and then call the hunt.it was bout 2 in the evening,this clear cut is bad thick and more thick saw brairs every were.we cast dogs in it ,they get 300 yrds in,and open there baying but walking then i hear nutty barking,i know what that meens,big hog ,and i know wont be long he is going to try him,were trying to get to them but its so thick,ole hog puts his nikes on all dogs shut up,i know he is running,dig out garmin there headed south its a open field thats like 500 yrds wide to a old lake bed full of water and lil islands in it its big mile long mile wide,i take off to the south in of clear cut,by time i get there the dogs are fighting him but heck he still walking on them,i try to get close but he see me and lites out torwad lake bed,i try to stay with them iam on foot,i cut a trail blood,iam thinking a dog is cut,i get in another gear,there in the middle of lake bed they would bay ten barks and shut up my go 100 yrds and open they did this for 3 hrs ,we would of got to them if they would every had a solid bay.this ole hog i figure he weight was 3 plus good cutters i could see them when they was fighting in the field,i finally called dogs out nobody cut,i figure the blood was from nutty nutting him,good hunting we going bk after him in few days going let him settle.
