I called Kevin to come down and hunt after I saw a good bit of fresh sign when I was feeding today. We turned out and had two hogs caught in about 20 minutes. My two bmcs took out and Kevins GPS showed them bayed a mile away on another mans place i can hunt. We loaded up the first two hogs, drove out and around to the place, started heading toward the bay and Kevins pup Granite started winding and found a good boar. I turned my AB Zeus loose and he grabbed an ear, we had the hog legged in about 20 seconds but Zeus had already been cut about 6 or 7 times REAL bad, and took one to the heart, he let go when we grabbed the hog, and died before the ropes were tied. Left them there and went on to my dogs baying and had to shoot the hog due to no way to catch it...  Angry  Anyway, this dog was new, only the third hog hes caught for me, shame it was his last...

First hog we caught today..

Those are some good looking hogs, I hate to hear about your bulldog.  What do you think that boar weighed?  His teeth look pretty big for his body size, not a good combo.

Matt

I'll carry him to the buyer tomorrow and see what he weighs.
