I just switched to this product based on recommendations from Dee (muleman) he said its good cheap feed and his dogs are doing good on it. This is my first time hearing of the brand so I was wondering if anyone else has been using it for a while and how their dogs looked/hunted on it. It is 24/20, and a 50# bag costs 19.99 and comes in a red bag. I had previously been feeding Retriver high energy cuz it was cheap but I never thought the quality of it was very high. Im hoping this Star Pro is good stuff because it is the same price as the Retriever and has more fat. Before retriever I was feeding diamond high energy 24/20 but I noticed my dogs just hated how that stuff tasted, plus it was getting to be expensive about $25 for a 50 lb bag. I really wanted to try the Black Gold 24/20 because I keep hearing so many good testimonials on it but its at $27 for a 40# bag that seems kinda high for me. Anyways if anyone has been feeding Star Pro 24/20 for a while let me know what your experience with it was. Also does anyone know how much digestible protein it has? Neither their website or the label says anything about that but I heard that it was important to know.

hoghunterdfw learn to read ingrediants for your self so you dont have to post polls on opinions I will personally teach you how to tell crap from quality. Its real decent stuff, slightly better than diamond high energy. When it says mea meal instead of meat you are getting a more accurate reading of the percentage of protein b/c it has already been dehydrated vs the moiture and some nutrients being sucked out of the meat label in the processing.
