Im not a FB person. So I chose to share my tribute here. This evening, my husband and I lost a dear, dear friend. We were just at his house earlier today....and he seemed normal as ever. Come to find out, via a friends text, he was out hog hunting this evening with a buddy of his...and collapsed of a heart attack. His buddy tried to revive him....but he passed before the medics got there. Virgil was a good man....with a heart if gold. He was a family man....a true friend. Always made us laugh. Always.
Virgil....we will miss you TERRIBLY. We will miss hunting with you....our visits on the dog yard....I thank God that we got to have what we didnt even know would be our final visit with you today. Just heartbroken.
We love you buddy! See you again someday......
RIP Virgil Dahl.

Yall hug your loved ones. They can be gone at the drop of a dime.

So sorry to hear about your friend, I have to say tho, when my time comes I would rather go with my boots on doing something I like rather than layin in a hospital bed! My condolences to his family and friends!

I knew Virgil and he was a dog hunting man for sure. He had recently bought a pack of beagles from a friend. A true outdoorsman. He will be missed.

Yes he was.  He was very proud of his dogs and rabbits. I know the beagles you speak of.
It still hasnt quite set in yet.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I know what you're going through and I'm glad y'all did get the visit in with him while he was here.....he was doing what he loved from the sounds of it-

and very true--hug your loved ones as much as possible. Tomorrow's gonna be yesterday, enjoy every moment.
