Had a couple of bear hunting friends from West Virginia come down & make a hunt. Only caught a couple of sows but they had a good time. We were going to the first bay & I got the boat stuck. Low tide & it was hard getting around. Ole Joe says, that water aint deep & jumps overboard to pull us out. Well the water might have been 10" deep but he went in up to his waist. He did not know about our gumbo mud.haha. Anyway, we all had to get out & pull the boat about 400 yards back to deeper water. We found a another cut & got within 40 yards of the bay. Spud & Jack ran this sow about a hour but were probably bayed three hours before we got to them. That is the hog in the canes.
The other hog with all the people in it, had Spud & 3 pups on it.
Those two Greybeards in the pics. were about as lost as a goose in the flatlands. They asked me how I knew where to go. I told them I did not know how they did it in the mountains but Garmins work pretty good down here.lol
