Probably a dumb question but has anybody ever used hog rings to keep wild hogs from rooting out? I put 2 in a pen and although I don't really think they'll get out, I also don't want them to turn the pen into a giant mud hole. I want this to be a usable bay pen, not a place for a dog to get marred up and wrecked by a hog. Thank yall !!

I dont know if i put the rings in good enough, but the rings i put in my hogs came out after a couple months. But the time they were in, it did prevent them from rooting for a couple wks till they got used to them.

Yea, they work on a wild hog just like a tame one.Just don't let them get out with rings or they will starve because they can't root.
