To get the most life out of the new Garmin collars do you have to completely decharge the collar before you charge it again because of the batteries memory?

No, I've had my Alpha for 2 1/2 years now and charge my collars after every 2 or 3 hunts... I never let them run dead.

interesting, I bought refurbished ones and one I have to charge every hunt, two will go two hunts and three will go about three hunts, Im wondering why. I figured it could be battery memory like a cell phone or cordless drill. thanks
