Mr. Chester is getting on up in age and isn't really breeding anymore, his son Johnny is, in my opinion the dogs aren't what they used to be, I've got a gyp who goes back to some of the old stock mr. Chester used to breed that's pretty good , from what I've seen out them now they will go hunt but most of the time need something to go with them, they're above decent on cows, now with that being said that's just the ones I've had dealings with, does not speak for the entire bloodline itself.
