Well we started hunting last Monday for the first time since deer season... Took my two parker dogs out and let em go bout 7:30..  They rolled out to 900 and fell bayed in about 15 min,  and I was surprised that the hog didn't break at all and set up good.  Well when I got there I seen the boar take a run in some briars at my gyp and flip her,,, she came out past me and I noticed she was flank cut bad,   Got some video of my male dog baying him for about 20 seconds and shot him in the eye with my 22.. he bailed out and ran another 800 yards .  My gyp didn't make it and I didn't even get the boar hog cause when my male showed treed again , it took me about 15 min to make it thru there but he didn't wait on me ,, he rolled out and found some more hogs.  So I didn't even get the skull of the sucker ..Didn't start the yr off with a good note,, so hopefully itll get better..
