What Were We Thinking!!!

What Were We Thinking (CSCOTT'S idea) should have been the name of our team for the Bumpurs Tournament this past weekend, but we went with TX OK Connection instead. After many sleepless hours of chasing hogs through the E TX piney woods with not much to show for our efforts, we unofficially changed our name to what we're we thinking lol. All jokes aside I had a great time with some great friends and family, and hope we can all get together and hunt again soon. Team members were myself, Kelly Barger (K-Bar), Jameson Pescell (Jmesonp1) sorry if I spelled all that wrong JP, and Chis Scott (CSCOTT), helpers were my dad Gilbert Garcia, Bo Lewis, Greg Tomlinson, and Steven Austin. There are a few other people I would like to mention, thank you Chance Tomlinson for keeping us entertained. It was his 1st hog hunt, and he was a trooper sticking with us all weekend. He was the happiest 10 year old in E TX when K-Bar gave him ole grandma, his 1st hog dog. I can only imagine the tales that were told at school on Monday morning haha. I'd also like to Thank Cory and Ashley B. and Bo Lewis for allowing us to hunt some of their property. Chris, Steven, it  was sure nice meeting you guys. I had a great time watching some damn good dogs do their thing, already looking forward to next year. I can't upload pics right now, maybe some of you guys on the team can help me out.

I won't speak for anyone else Britt, but I've never met a nicer, more accommodating group of guys than you're friends  and your dad down there. I had a ball! We did what we said we wanted to do and that was have a great time doing what we love to do. We did that to the fullest. Thank you Britt for all the leg work you put into the hunt securing places etc as well as your wife's cinnamon rolls and chicken spaghetti. They were both excellent. Cory and Bo, you guys sure didn't have to do what you did for us and we appreciate it a lot. We'd love to have you come up and give our pigs a run one of these days. Between the alligator and snake infested swamps and the 900 thorn bushes per sq foot pine forests; you guys are a tough bunch!! It was an experience to see the different terrain. We had a ball. Can't wait till next year when we can all say, "what were we thinking??", again.
Chance, if you're reading this, I truly enjoyed riding around with you the whole weekend. You are a great kid and tuff as heck. Hang in there BS'r
