Long range antennas??

Kind of a minor situation but I switched out my collar antennas a little bit ago to the long range ones, they don't seem stiff enough to stay in a mostly appropriate position. I put some zip ties on them to no avail. Any suggestions?? It doesn't seem to interfere with tracking, I get about 1.8 miles which isn't really any further than I got before switching them out. Thanks y'all!!
