Decided to go this past Sunday morning so loaded up the 2 old dogs and a pup. Dropped the dogs and they hunted for about an hour without a peep. So tracked them down and loaded them up and headed across the creek to higher grounds. Soon as we crossed the creek we started seeing sign, so pulled up to a little opening and dropped the dogs. They went out about 900 yards and started circling and sure enough about 2 minutes later my old gyp sounded off, followed by the other 2. So we make our way around and get within 250 yards to stop and listen and the Bulldogs slips her collar and is headed to them

Cut my post off for some reason...
So anyways, we head to them and get 40 yards and can hear the hog gruntin. We start in to the thicket and my brother makes it to him and legs him. I finally make it to the little opening and get on top of him and tie him and realize he's a bar. Ended up catching 3 total and killing the Barr. Gonna make some nice sausage.

I don't really care for it. I like the 4 strand the best but that's just me and sometimes it's just whatever rope you grab before you're running from the buggy to a bay lol

Nice hogs fellas. They use to make a 4 strand poly minla blend that had some kind of wax coating on it. It was tie down rope used for 18 wheelers you could tie anything with that stuff

If you can tie good the ones I made you can get them off easily but are made out of paracord. Mine are 3 plait flat and 4 plait round. I love em throw you're loop around a back leg and s half hitch on the front or vise versa and they are done!
