Made a little run this morning with my nephew, our athletic trainer, and his son. We cast the dogs and sent them up a wooded draw. About 250 yards out they hit a sounder that was still out moving. They bayed a blond shoat quick and we stuck it. They rolled over and we caught a sow about 140-150ish. They rolled over again and were about half a mile from us and I finally toned them back. It was getting pretty warm and I didn’t see a need in stroking a dog out if I could help it, they’re FAT. I took my Reno dog for his first time. Man I was really pleased. The first hog he just gave me some not too sure cur type chop barks. The second hog he gave me some big houndy bawl though. I love it! He hunted his butt off. Even when he would get separated from the other two dogs he was hustling. He didn’t know what for but he was still at it. I haven’t done him like I usually do my young dogs so we will see how well he progresses and how fast. I don’t think it’s going to take him long though.

This is Reno.

Good job Thomas, he may not be your favorite color but he is easy to look at.  I like the grin on that youngsters face.
