I just want to share this information because I found out by accident and was totally unaware.

On Saturday night I got home from a restaurant in the rain and found a 3lb bag of rat poison bait chunks completely eaten by my yard dogs, kong and my 5 puppies. My wife's hound had gotten into the garage and got the unopened bag that was also in a tractor supply bag on the top shelf and brought it out to the yard for everyone to eat.I went to the drug store and bought peroxide and made them all empty their stomachs I called my vet he told me to send him a picture of the active ingredient which was "Diphacinone"an anticoagulant. He then told me that it's luckily the treatable kind and they would be OK with vitamin k tablets .He also told me that the other kind of rat poison is a neurotoxin and is 100% fatal when eaten by a dog.I just wanted to share this information because I was totally unaware and it was just by luck that I bought the right one.I was sick to my stomach when I saw what had happened.

Remember : (Diphacinone)=good

Cracker, your good people but we can’t hang together. That black cloud over you and your dogs is huge. Lol, I’m just kidding of course but dang! Maybe this is your turning point, they could’ve gotten into the other type for starters. Second, no matter what type they got into, you saw it and they didn’t die. Glad it worked out for you.

Great info, thanks for sharing.

Had a panicked friend call me last year that his house dog ate a bag of what you described. He lived and I was scratching my head wondering how.
