Caught two big sows today. One ran pretty good and the other bayed n her bed. A dogs nose is something else. Around noon we got a weak strike and put out. Dogs were trailing it but it was slow going. Trailed maybe 1/2 Mike and bayed a big sow in her bed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That sounds like good watching Cajun. Those kinds of things are what really make it fun and it’s just a bonus that you had a little something to do with the creation of that dog.

If a feller don’t think there is a difference in each dogs nose. Then he ain’t never owned too many dogs. Lol. It will amaze people when they see what the possibilities are with the right dog. They simply invent tracks that other dogs can’t imagine or smell and then they put a hog at the end of the rainbow. That is what I’ve seen out of Cajuns blood in his dogs. And he ain’t paying me to say it neither. Lol. Good haul man.

Highwater, his dogs have such a good nose that one of his males could smell my in season collie gyp from Louisiana to central Texas and made it all the way there in time to get her bred I might add. So they can push it hard and fast when they can smell it!!!
