Well it flooded from Friday afternoon till Sunday morning here.Donovan and I were chomping at the bit to make one more quick hunt before they had to leave.Rain stopped at 6am on Sunday and we headed out for a quick hint brought Kc, Peaches and Kong soon as we got there and put the wind in their faces they winded some hogs in a wet bottom about 500yds away sent them and they immediately stretched the first sow they left off her and ended up split up running they're own hogs for a good while Peaches ended up drowning another in the swolen creek it was 39 and blowing and I wasn't swimming for it.Kong got his bayed a little over a mile away but lost it when it crossed the creek Kc stuck his out and ended up catching her under a blow down a couple miles to the north.Caught the dogs and called it a hunt.Had a good weekend with the family and really enjoyed getting in the woods with ol Donovan.

Man looking at that wet and knowing it was cold makes me cold. Sounds like the dogs worked hard. Good hunt and no dogs hurt is even better.

Sounds like a good hunt. Your woods look about like ours, wet and muddy. Nice job by the young dogs.
