Dumped dogs crook jr Lorrie and kidd at my lease they went out 5-600 yards came back didn’t act to interested so we picked them up and went to the other side and dumped and they casted out about 640 yards and crook opened up all of them were together and the race commenced got across a few creeks and the dogs all split up kids and jr came back around and bayed 737 from us to our left and 100 yards off the rd and Lorrie opened up 650 from us out in front  and crook went to her and they lit out! We get to jr and kidd and send dro and socks catch a decent little boar hog cut him and drove back around to try to get communication with the other dogs
Lorrie was out at .63 she’d got tied up on track and turned around back tracking so we picked her up and got communication with crook she was bayed at .85 so we headed to her creek crossing was washed so we had to walk the last 450 yards get in there and she had a small group bayed beside the river sent dro and socks hogs went everywhere and crook and cds caught a good salty boar hog and we got him tied
Both cds over headed and passed out dro came to quick but socks was acting like she was gonna have a heat stroke so I started burring her in dirt (was gonna put her in river but 25’ bluff bank) got her cooled off and barred the boar and kicked him out called it a day! Overall good dog work hopefully Lorrie starts lining them out and being there at the end of the races 15 months old so we’ll get there
Kidd left jr right

Williamsld where do y’all live and hunt if you don’t mind me asking? I use to hunt a few areas along the Neches. Had some good times with some still to this day, great friends.

Sounds like your dogs did a real good job. I’m glad they came out ok.

I see. Y’all have a few lizards in the Neches where you’re at don’t you?

There weren’t many in it further north where I hunted. I never liked that River much. It always seemed to have more than its share of trees and brush in it.

Yessir and way more on Sam Rayburn they need to start prioritizing gator tags

All our rivers around here are that way only people cutting trees out and helping clean it up to where you can get around are the hunters/fishers around here
