Went down to the public land Friday night to see if we could do any good. Hit few spots casted dogs went deep but notta so we changed up and just drove around with gunner on top of the truck rigging. Well got to some camp sites and he started blowing up for the next mile or so but we didn’t want to be that guy so we went to another patch he blew up so we dropped stinky and spud one way gunner and pork chop the other I waited few min before I let the queen bee out. Stinky and spud had one caught pretty quick gunner and pork chop where making there way to them and Reba was out doing her thing she sounded off and the night began they ran one for 3 hrs over 5 miles the catch dog missed few times pork chop and spud caught one on the way to Reba then gunner found one in the creek but the catch dog was going under so he was more important then the hog but over all good hunt good time with the boys and the young dogs learned a lot

It may have been a long hunt, but a good one and really good exposure for the young dogs. Hope the catchdog didn't take on too much water.

Sounds like a good productive hunt judge. I really like them long hunts where dogs really gotta grind. Reminds me why I love doing this.

I keep telling myself I’m gonna go see what’s the forest is about with my dogs one day. I wanna see about these impossible to catch hogs as some people claim them to be. Looks like you and some others I know, know how to catch em just fine.
