Real good hog!! BUt sorry to hear that bout the dog, unfortunately theres people out there that do that kind of stuff. The same thing happened to me not to long ago when i paid a bunch for a supposily a solid catchdog and it bayed and my main strike dog ive had for over 5 years got cut real bad.. Hope your dog pulls through..

Who is the dog trading hole in the butt, I hate people who dont cull. Sorry about your dog, I have hunted with a 3 legged strike dog and he was Great, however it was his front leg. That number 2 is not even about the $ you pay for the dog its b/c of stories like this that lying daddy didn't marry mommy really costs you. Sorry Grant

Man thats a bummer Rowdy,that is always how it goes when you go by yourself,you end up in lots of hogs or big bad ones.How big do you reckon the second boar was?The first one is a brute himself.

sorry to hear bout your dog getting hurt, but glad she pulled through. maybe you could get some pups from her if she cant hunt, just a thought. hopefully she will heal up & be fine w/ a little time.

Jimmy i set there for a good minute and a half and watched this i would say he went 400 he is the same one that killed my silent walker three weeks ago!!! I wasnt supposed to be alone one of my buddies stood me up!! |

sorry to hear that rowdy, my father in law had a 3 legged dog that had a back leg shot off that he still hunted and it did well, might see if she can still go after she heals up, just a thought.

You are welcome Rowdy, not your fault bud. I knew how tough she was, seen it many times on big hogs. If things started to get hairy she would jump in and lend a hand(er mouth)  Glad you got to hunt behind her, hard to find a dog with more bottomn than Ruby.  Guess we are even now, I got one of my best catch dogs ever from ya. Ol Meaty and Ruby would have made one helluva team! |
