When Cajun tells you that hes gonna take you to "Hog Paradise",,,,   HE means it...  Im just getting the chance to write this up on ETHD from the hunt with him and his crew.  For some reason I cant write it up or post pics no more on my tapatalk app...
I thought he was gonna blind fold me and my son when we left Saturday morning to a spot he called Hog Paradise.. LOL...   Dont matter if he did or didnt ,, I couldnt find my way back there again anyway,, Talk about the end of the world he took us too...  But when we got there it was well worth the trip.  Hunting a spot like this was like taking  a NFL team to play against a  AA highschool team....
If anyone has never hunted with the caliber dogs that he took that morning ,, a feller aint never seen what a hog dog is   ..  We had a hard time keeping up with the relays and how quick the bays were produced...
Me and my son talked about how dogs like that dont come around in every litter,, those dogs that know what you want em to do and you aint got to say a word..   The kind you just got to take to the woods and they will do the rest..   All around it was a great experience for us to see that kind of hunt,, those you can mark down as a great memory that you wont forget....

Now I got to try and find a spot to take him and his crew that matches that spot,,,,   I guess I will have to see if the Sale barn will let us make a hunt one day.... LOL>...

Highwater I don’t doubt a word you said. I don’t figure he could have the success or longevity he’s had without those caliber of dogs. If you think they are good now, just wait until he joins the club and adds some border collie to them.! I bet your right too about getting out there and not being able to find your way around.

T dog, Not sure I want to make that cross. It would probably clean all the hogs out of the woods. I guess I will stick to these ole open mouth slow pot lickers. Highwater, I have hunted there about 1/2 my life and still get turned around. lol There are so many cuts and sloughs that lead to nowhere and dont mention a foggy day.

Yeah there's a reason the Bayou Cajun Plotts are known on more than one continent.
