Larry Smith, Charley Gainse, his Grandson Brock and myself made a round today. We were hunting the high ground today. It felt good to have solid footing under your feet. I dont know where the hogs went but we covered a huge area before we found a decent track around 10:00 or so. Put the dogs out and they trailed out and jumped. Normally these hogs run and this boar had it on his mind but for whatever reason he hit open woods instead of staying in the cutover. Dogs smoked him in about as fast a race as you can have for 20 minutes and bayed him right on the edge of a road. Turned the bulldog loose from 50 yards and caught hog.

Well it’s good to know the dogs are picking them up and putting them down on track. That’s the way I like a dog to drive a track.
