I'll bet he is too. They hit it hard for that month and have good hunts and good times. I went a couple of years and thoroughly enjoyed it, real good people, good hunts, good food, and totally different terrain than any I'd ever been in.

I sure hope he’s got his feet back under him so he can go too. I’ve never hunted that terrain ether. These old collie crosses have never been in a boat.

Boys, call it old age or just wimping out but we are not going to hunt the marsh on Sunday. Supposed to be 19 degrees and I am going to tell you that is cold in a boat, especially with wind. It will only be 26 Monday morning so we will be out there then. I have some older dogs that think I have forgot all about them and the young guns are getting ready to get trained in Nutria Avoidance. Looking forward to getting out there and I probably will not be walking to far as Im still getting over knee surgery but hey, that's what those youngens are for.

That’s exactly what they are for  Cajun. Those temps on a boat doesn’t sound like fun to me. Those  young dogs will be putting the pressure on those old dogs pretty quick I imagine. Hope that knee is coming along good.
