I havent been posting much…..been bad dry over the summer and with the heat, drought, gators stacked in what little water there is. This summer I am lucky to go once a week.

Some of the spots in the southern part of Fl been getting some good rains for a couple weeks. Decided to go and enjoy the long weekend. The Mosquitoes missed the water too and were out in absolute full force! You about had to bathe in bug spray.

We fished, We Hunted, We tore up buggies.Caught some with the Plotts caught some with the cur dogs, And most importantly got some kids in the woods. It was overall a good time. Ended up with 8 for the weekend, Biggest be a Boar and Piggy sow both in the 150 range. The rest a bunch of bred sows and few small boars.

And a danger noodle

Thanks for looking

I got ate alive in Salt lake City while picking up my pup. They got big rains a week ago and man the skeeters were awful. It looks like a darn good weekend otherwise.

Sounds like a busy weekend. 8 is a good number in this heat. It’s been the same way here, crazy hot and crazy dry. I have a couple of hunting buddies that wouldn’t stop running until they hit your beaches if they encountered that snake here. It’s pretty comical. I still think your pack dogs look a lot like my pack of dogs. Maybe it’s the border collie in them all, lol.

That’s a nice trip loaded with variety, that hunt we had in that slough I think I swallowed a bushel basket of skeeters. Cold temps can’t get here quick enough for me.
