Would like to hear how your Dane or Dane x is doing as a hog dog and what you think the strengths and weaknesses of them are. Are they scenting and finding hogs. Curious mind wants to know.              John

PM me if you want.

Those that I know of are doing very well. They can and do wind and run their own track and can be very hard holders.

Thank you Silverton Boar dogs. I have a 11 month old that seems to wind before my Catdo and is showing a lot of intrest in the pen. Catches as good or better than Catdo on the small 50 lb hogs I have shown her. Will start taking to woods at end of month when I think her teeth will be set. Was wanting to know if others were having the same experience as I was.     John

I know L3 has one. And he is a "one out". Dog.  Hear good things about them he is big on the bullydane cross also. I am thinking about breeding my pit ridge back to his Dane

Ya Hogdoggintexas my pup is out of L3 stock and I'm really excited about how she is comming on.
W-tate my pup is out of Joshua's first breeding of BullyDanes and it seems she will be everything we had hopes of her being. At 10 months she was 26" and 77-78lbs. She is the runt of the litter and took all of her dad's look. Hoping she will be 100lbs and about 30 inches at 18 months.

Hogdoggintexas I have older pictures. I haven't taken a picture in 3months. Should get a new one. I am not the smartest computer guy so if you don't mind I will e-mail a picture to you as I know how to do that. Let me know.

W-tate, Riddick is one hell of a dog and is seeming to pass along a lot of hunt to his offsprings. A lot of people make fun of him and push his buttons but Joshua is telling it like it is with the hunting of his dogs. Too bad he doesn't post here anymore because if most people had listened instead of making light of everything he said they could have learned a lot. I just think you have to respect what people hunt and how they hunt even though you might disagree with them.      John

One day I would love to have a great Dane. I would really like to see one in the woods or caught on a hog.

Christina, My dog is a BullyDane and is awesome even though she is young. Moves around much better than most would think. Where I hunt is mostly oak bottoms with short river cane and not a lot of tangles and she goes through it a lot better than my Terriers. Her power is incredible. At 9 months was 77lbs and 26". Has the possibility of reaching 30" and 100lbs.  John

Old sarge I agree with u 100% about Josh.  Seems like a great guy.  I am perrty excited about makein the cross with riddick. And it ain't till march   But I am worried about movein the pups cause I don't have room for an entire litter
