Til I'm living in a box for a week.   I don't know why but somehow I enjoy sitting there doing nothing looking at the animals.

Good luck in Okie land Kevin!  I don't mind sitting as long as I am seeing....really I like sitting there anyway but when you get to watch something it sure makes time go by faster!

Well I might see 10 deer in the 9 days ill be there.  I typically see a lot of coyotes.  I always see the neighbors dogs.  A couple of years ago I was bow hunting and they came by chasing turkeys.  I through a stick at them, and one of them saw me and had me "treed" for a good 20 minutes.  It was a great pyrenese.  I finally got mad and climbed down and tied him up and whipped the chit out of him with a little sapling.   I still see the other dogs on our place but not him

You bringing the dogs?  Come on by when you get tired of sitting in the stand and we'll run the dogs at night.  I'll save you and your dad a few doe tags.  That 8 point we got pictures of broke off his left side between the brow tine and the G-2.   Sad

Hope the rut ain't over!

I brought the dogs.  I came up last night.  Got up and sat in the stand this morning and saw some deer and turkeys.  When I got down I checked the game camera near that stand and I have what looks to be 5 different bucks coming to that 1 scrape.  I saw a little buck this morning and when he got near the scrape he just locked up and turned around. I guess he didn't want an @ss whippin.  Some of the pictures were from last night.  So maybe we'll be lucky with the rut.
