took my '34 Tula Hex receiver this morning since she hadn't killed anything since the Great War. was looking for some antlers, but got a group of 30 pigs moving down the tree line at a slow feed. ranged at 105 yrds. hit her with 180 gr. Speer SP in a Wolf case in the left rib cage and lodged on right shoulder blade. obliterated the heart and one lung. one shot, one kill!

NW Smith County...... I have 25 acres across from my house that is 1.5 miles from Sabine River Bottom.

Nice looking hog... and nice looking Mosin Nagant! I have 3 of 'em. I use them as well... with Bulgarian and Yugo rounds.
