Caney Creek Hog Doggers

We went out yesterday evening, I took my finished strike dog "blue" and two young dogs "copper and saddie". I had my three cds "moochie, tex, and tuff" on the hunt with us. About 15 min. into it blue was working on a cold track whe we heard saddie open up, she has trashed on deer so we didn't know what to expect. Blue heard her and took off, I watched on the garmin as he approached saddie. Soon as blue got there we had a solid bay going, copper which is the youngest took off and joined them. We got close with the cds and cut them loose, they had a boar about 150 caught in another cave which was made from a fallen tree. The hole had water in it about 3ft, I jumped in and stuck the hog. Soon as I did that all the strike dogs took off and had another one bayed 30yds from the first one, it was a sow around 150. After we took care of the sow blue took off again with sadie and copper right behind him. They ran a hog for about an hour then finally got it stopped. We got close and cut some fire power to em', this hog was a big one. It was walking with 3 cds hanging off and was in some thick brush so I couldn't get in to stick it. We shot it 4 times in the head before it went down. I forgot my camera so I didn't get any action shots, sry guys!! Here's the first one  The hole were the fight took place  The second hog  The third hog, this sow weighed 330 lbs   |

nice hogs colton. can't wait to get down there and hunt. ray is deer hunting this weekend in rock springs. hope you and the family have a great thanksgiving. say hi to your dad for me.

I got those dogs from some dumbas* thats claims there hog dogs lol, nah those dogs are really doing what I want I'm glad you sold them to me! |
