Joey called and Invited me to go hunting with him and chuck so we waited untill it warmed up a little and dropped the dogs about 10 am .   Hunted for a little while and then the curs started baying .  We rounded the corner and it was a nice boar standing in the turn row like he was King ding a Ling .  Curs were baying good and we turned Joeys young catchdog to em and she ran in and just as she hit the hog broke and ran about 200 yards.  Then it bayed in the woods and the curs and Joeys catch dog caught it.  It was a nice boar about 235 lbs with about 1 1/2 in cutters .   Sadie and Boots both took a cut but nothing serious.  We got it caught and hobbled and the curs rolled out and went  .75 miles south according to the Garmin. We went around and got about 500 yards from em and heard a small pig squealling for just a minute then it faded out.  They rolled out again and went .63 miles and showed to be bayed again. By the time we got around to em this time it either broke or it was another shoat and they killed it.  It was another good hunt with some dang good dog work.  Didnt get any good action shots but heres a couple of pictures.

Marvin,

Great time as always, and I still cant believe that boar was just standing in the road like that.  That is the beauty of hog hunting is you never know what to expect.lol  We will probaly be heading to the woods this weekend depending on weather and oilfield activity so I will be in touch.  I was very happy with that little gyp I got from EThunter on the board.  She did great for her first hog in the woods and second hog that I have showed her.

Joey, as you know I raised that AB/DOGO pup of yours and she started earlier than the entire litter. One of my friends came up from Sommerville this weekend and brought his female littermate to your pup. The only catch dogs we had were my two males and his gyp, three pups not quite 10months old yet and we got a hog caught with them. good luck with your pup, Im glad to see she has a good home.  Paul
