I will be going to Girard Texas to make a deer hunt next week and was wondering if it would be worth bringing a few hog dogs .

Trashycur I Personally never hunted that area but my brother has a deer lease by Clairemont and there are alot of hogs and I hunt by Dickens which is north of Girard and there are hogs in that area also. I would say it is worth a shot. P.S. Watch out for deer hunters I'm sure their alot in that area.

Lots of hogs in that country.Have hunted around there alot, and never came home empty handed.Hope you have some broke dogs.Lots of wildlife up there.Tons of Deer,Porcipine, you name it.Get ready for some oak motts, and shinnery.Maybe some rough breaks, canyons, depends on where you are around there.Good luck.
