I have two RCD's that have some of this blood in them. I am wondering who all is also running some dogs with this blood in them. I am interested in RCD's only, NOT lead in. It would be nice to know who has this blood so we all could know has what for future breedings. If you have these, post how their breed, their sex, and their weight.

i've got a future plan but the first breeding won't take place for about another year.  the pups will end up 1/2 great dane x 1/4 ab x 1/4 dogo.  then after i pick the best performers out of that litter i'm gonna cross em over a (what i believe i was told) 3/4 deer hound x 1/4 wolf hound.

i'm working towards producing some dogs that should be 30-32" and around 100 or so lbs.  should work great for running 2 or 3 on the ground in some milo, crp, or mesquite flats after i move back to Canyon.

Dabutcher, I like that cross alot. I am trying to to the same as yourself in breeding dogs for the feilds but they also do pretty good in woods and most thickets. Do you have any pics of the dogs you mentioned ?

well, the abxdogo is a dog i have named Leah.  She came out of Zeus and Comet which are both Lucy Lou x Captain Morgan bred.  very tight but she doesn't seem to have any negatives from it.  BUT, i'm waiting and giving her time to prove herself and make sure she doesn't have any faults.

the great dane is L3's Riddick dog.  the pups he's sired so far have all turned out or are turning out.  Josh is getting a wolfhound x deer hound cross that SilvertonBoarDog is gonna hunt up around where i'll be moving to.  Given he makes a dog i'll go from there, and if he doesn't then i'll start the search for one that is proven or find one for myself.

I have some pics of Leah but i'll have to dig for em.

Been foolin' around with a greyhound... can't keep the skin on the dog long enough to give her a chance on a good hog!.... If this dog ever tried to get through a cat briar thicket... there'd be nothing left  Shocked  For all their superior athletic abilities, just too fragile for me to even consider crossing up....

Dabutcher, I have spoken with him also about his dogs. I hope he breeds his dane/pit over that hairy dog.

Noah, I know it would be a drive for you but you can try breeding that greyhound to my dae/pit. I live in Macon, Georgia. Would make some sho nuff rough RCD's.

Yeah, Josh is a good guy just misunderstood by a lot of folks, imo.  he's got the same outlook on people as i do so we get along pretty well.

he is planning on breeding that wolf hound x deer hound  to his bullydane.  should make some leggy dogs for sure.  we're both kinda looking for the same thing.  30-32" and about 100lb dog that'll find it's own hog.  he hunts one out but i'm gonna be using 2-3 dogs in a pack with leah as a drop dog if one of the others needs help.  she'll be my lead in catch dog for whenever i hunt with baydogs as well.  I also may be picking up a dogo from a guy that's gonna be making a breeding if everything goes as planned. i'm very excited about this one.

i'm only going to be keeping 6-8 total dogs on my place.  3 of the finished product, 3 bay dogs, leah, and this dogo pup if all turns out.
