well  had another productive day , started out early this morning, we rode about 7 miles of really rough canyons, and took a real beating from the scrub oak and blackjack thickets.  lots of rocks and ice today.
one of the guys mules fell on some slick icey rocks but both were okay, gave us something to rib him about the rest of the day  Grin.

we where just about to make full circle when JR threw his head in the air and took out to the east, he went about 400 yrds and came bayed, all the dogs went to help and caught a 100# sow.  had a young dog(out of JR) get in on his first bay in the woods .
drug the hog back to the truck and called it a day.
just realized i didnt get a picture of the hog but here are a couple pic. from today

cave with ice , i thought was pretty cool.

all the dogs feet are in bad shape from running on ice for the past 2 days so, im done for the weekend.

next weekend is supposed to be in the single digits, matt i might have to cover my ears for that .

Sounds like a good time, except for the guy falling with his mule. You guys were going stir crazy during deer season. I'm glad season didn't last any longer than it did...

Were you riding a real mule today, or a short eared one?
Cheers
