I just want your thoughts on what you consider a catch dog? I consider a catch dog to be a dog that can catch and hold any hog size doesn't matter by their selves. The only way they come off is when they are choked off or if they die. Just my opinion whats your thoughts.

same here but if they do get slung off cause it happens to the best they better get right back after it

if it happens they better get knocked off in some bad stuff and an ear better be tore up but if they get slung off in the open it better not happen more then once or they wont stay in my kennles very long

(GAME) TESTED-Field experienced with rough boar hogs, never showing a bad sign or move.

BAD MOVE, SIGNS-Turning away from boar, running away, refusing to catch, hollering in fear or pain. Refusing to "scratch back" (when pulled out of the catch, refusing to go back in and catch again.) Any action indicating a lack of gameness in hunting.

GOOD MOUTH/HARD MOUTH- Capable of hanging on tightly to a wild, fighting hog's ear, cheek or other hold without being easily tossed or stomped off.

TALENTED- Skilled/experienced at catching and holding/hanging on to a wild, fighting hog's ear, cheek or other hold without being easily tossed or stomped off.
