I never had the need for a shock collar but my new pup is stubborn as all get out... I like my dogs to have a good handle and this one is killing me.  has all the makings of a good strike dog but shes wore out my patience....Any suggestions on brand/model..Really like to get one that will work on multiple dogs just in case i get another along the way that needs the same motivation...

THE ONE MY BUDDY HAS IS A SPORTDOG 2500.  GOT 1 1/2 MILE RANGE AND IS A MULTIPLE COLLAR SYSTEM.  I HAVE A STUBBORN MALE DOG THAT HAD A PROBLEM WITH COWS, LET ME TELL YOU IT WILL PIN HIS NOSE TO HIS A$$ IN A HURRY.  ALOT OF POWER IN THIS SYSTEM WHICH IS WHAT I LIKE.

I have tri-tronics and a sport dog wetland hunter 400.  I prefer the sport dog system.  I run three collars on mine and I had one battery problem and they fed ex shipped a whole new collar.

I recently purchased a new sportdog hound hunter 3200 and love it.  It came with 1 collar and you can add collars to your system up to 4 collars total.  So far have been very pleased with it.  Still new and learning the new system, but have had good luck as of now.

I bought the Tri-tronics classic 70 g3 exp from gun dog supply and 2 dummy collars cause I think there important as well and I have been very happy with it, The only draw back to spending the cash on it and it's not really a bad thing is it worked so well that after 2 weeks it just sit's on the charger. If you never used one before just dont go nut's cranking it way up and dont over use it, I did on my first one I ever bought and wouldn't want you to learn the hard way like I had to
