Looked at some profiles, "location" is not filled out. Whats the deal? People put dogs or pups for sale with no location or contact number. At least put your state and county! If I do not know the area code in a phone number my interest stops there. A location sure would seperate the legit from the dog jockies. Just a thought.

i have seen some other forum classifieds that say " no location + no price = deleted ad " |

just my .02 if you have something you want to sell put a price ,location ,pic if you have one ,phone number where you talk about what you want to sell or trade .. many of times asked to emailpics or sennd to my cell phone .. and hear nothing back ,even on P.M. ,and nothing !!!! dont sound like they really want to make a sell . not trying to p--- any off ,jmo

Just a thought...I haven't had a litter of pups in about 2 years. When I did advert them, I didn't put up a price, because they were going by private treaty. Private treaty is just that...you never know until you call and talk to the person. Many times the dog/pup can be had for little or nothing (at least monitarily) to honest hunters.

Good point Scott, a lot of people prefer do business that way. So, not posting a price isn't an issue with me. As far as location and phone numbers, any crook can put a location, e-mail and have a pre-paid cell phone... that's how they all operate anyway. I can trace everyone's IP on here... you'd be suprised how the fella's operate. Multiple user names going to the same place.  Know what you are buying before you buy and no one will ever get ripped off... it's that simple. |

Yea, you know though, when I started posting pictures of my young dogs on this website, I started getting IM's from people that I really don't know if I want them to know what county I am from or not. Do to the simple fact that they might try to steel some dogs. But now that I have been on it for some time and love the heck out of it, I really don't mind IM ing people that I dont' know. YALL ARE JUST A BUNCH OF GOOD PEOPLE!!!!!!! I agree, if your going to post something for sale, then post the locations and quit waisting my time IMing you to find out if I want it or not,,,,,IM JUST SAYIN!!! |
