I always recognize quality when I see it... this dog has it in my opinion.... who knows how he'd do for what we do, but I bet he'd work Wink

Just a fine looking dog...

I have a good friend that recently drove all the way to Mississippi to purchase 3 personal protection dogs that didn't quite make their cut.  They are english mastiff X pit crosses.  So far one of the three is making and the others haven't figured it out yet.  IMO its just like any other dog.  Bloodlines lay out a good foundation, but training and each dog's personality and specific traits will be the determining factors as to whether or not they make the cut.
