My boy is 7 yrs. old, his mother had to work saturday so he had to go hunting with the boys on his first walk hunt. We had walked 5 miles with little or no complaints from my boy, and I kept telling him that when the action starts it will not be so boring. Soon after that the dogs were bayed 300 yrds out, my buddies had the catch dogs headed to the bay, and we were not far behind. When we got to the bay Marvin had the 175 lbs. boar by the back leg, and I lead my boy in and He stabed it with his 20 inch sword, with a grin from ear to ear. The dogs rolled out again and was bayed at 400 yrds., and my boy said "Daddy, I just can't run any more!" So I told the guys to take care of my catch dogs and they took off to the bay, and me and my boy just walked to the bay, it was a 100 lbs. sow. I never thought I would be so proud of my boy!!! I took the head to a friend to Europen mount on a plaque so my boy could hang it in his room. Sorry, no pictures.....Craig will have to get this redneck up to speed in that department!!

Good hunt! Everyone getting to take the boys hunting makes me wish mine would grow up a little faster. Glad the boy had fun.
