Tried to plan a last minute hunt with all the guys in the TDHA contest. I called Richard. He, Clint and Luke were bout an hour away and headed my way. Got in touch with Bryant and Travis and they were out hunting but thought they could make it over.

Myself, Richard, Clint and Luke went ahead and sent dogs from the ranch headquarters as it would be a while before the others arrived.

Within a few minutes we had a hog bayed. Clint sent his dog in to finish the deal on a 100 lb boar.

Here is that pimp, Clint, wit his dog, Ruby.

Richard's lone dog rolled out and the three Jagds loaded back up. We drove 400-500 yards and Luke winded off the ranger. We briefly heard a pig squeel but dogs were split in three different directions. Bart had shown to make a big loop and turned back eventually meeting up with Levi where they bayed.

They had a nice 200 lb boar and he was making the dogs work. I was getting good video but the sun was wrong and ended with a glare. Clint and Luke cut catch dogs to the bay. Ruby shut this guy down and I stuck him.

Met back up at the headquarters just as Bryant and Tavis pulled up. Richard fixed my Luke up with some stiches and staples. We made a short hunt and caught another nice boar in the back side of a tank before calling it a day.

Luke, Richard, Clint, Bryant and me.

We left a few 400 lb hogs in a 1 acre trap for the tournament.  Grin

Bump, if you come across a 200 to 250lb boar hog this week, try to keep it alive for me. I am going to need one for a while..... Or maybe we will just catch one this Saturday evening. We are still planning tenatively for a Saturday evening hunt, right?

It got even chillier, when I went to cross a creek and busted my a$$ on some slick rocks. Needless to say, I am glad there weren't any younguns around.  Grin
