I am trying to put weight on a really skinny male.  He is older and I want to put weight on him fast.   I just got him and he is pretty thin.  I feed 25/18.  Any ideas? BEEN WORMED

I would worm him really good 1st then
Go to feed store and get a gallon of Liquid Dyne $ 37.00
Feed him 3 cups feed and 1 once dyne on top twice a day.
Has worked several times for me.

you can get canned mackerl  and rice to add to his daily feed this will add weight and if you want you can also add a tbl spoon of coconut oil this is found with the vitamins at walmart

x2 on the worming. I had the same problem, I thought I wormed the dog good. I used safeguard for 3 days at 1 cc per 5lb. Stayed thin and then I noticed round worms in the stool 2 weeks later. I swithed to Strongrid 5 days 1 cc per 10lbs and the rib cage disappered.

i have a catahoula dog that stayed thin all the time i stareted feeding a dog food called Zacs beef meal now he  holds his wieght and looks damn good the feed cost $24 for 50lbs it doesnot have any corn or soybean in it

when we found a very very bad starved down dog, brough it home and wormed him real good...actually thought i killed him from worming him too much.  But i poured Ensure over his dog food twice a day and it took about 1 week and he started looking real good. He was a pit, and when we got done, he looked like a tank.
