Went out to Grant's honey hole where I have got the majority of my hogs this year. It was our regular group of hunting buddies me, Grant, Dee, and Joe and Joes son-in-law also named Joe. Walked about 30 mins and Grants dog Hunter and Dees dog Blue started burning out and were quickly out over 700 yards.  Started walking towards them and my dog Luke who was jackas$ing around by my feet as usual suddenly winded something. It was a mean boar and right off the bat, he had put a hurtin' on a some of the dogs, especially Joe's dog Weasel... Sad Sent in the dogos and PPC Eloy went right in and shut him down. My other dogo, Pinky showed what a rookie she is and couldnt seem to find a place to lock down. While we were dealing with the injured dogs, the other dogs that we were originally following had bayed up a group of hogs but they ended up singling out a small 80lb boar and it was caught by the curs by the time we got there.  Started making our way back to the truck and Hunter, Blue, and Lance struck out and found another one. Heard a solid bay and got to about 200 yards away when I let the dogos loose.  Didnt hear much squeeling even though I knew Eloy was there so I knew it was big. Turned out to be a gigantic pregnant sow.  The pics dont do her justice but she looked over 400lbs.  This hog was definitely up there with some of the largest Ive ever caught. Went back to the truck and put the dogs up.  Decided to go back and get the head off the first boar for a trophy skull. When we got there we noticed the boar was 3 legged, the 4th leg looked like it had been mutilated before in a snare or something.  So anyways good day of hunting, 3 hogs and only 2 hours of hunting, except for Joe's dog of course  Sad.

De's dog blue was out 600 yds and bayed up by himself while all the others were trying to figure it out, my dog finally made it over to him to help him out. He was burning the woods up for sure! That dog wrecking boar put a slip on the heard and headed straight to us with the wind in our favor and some young dogs at are feet..... Grin Excellent
