Got a text from my buddy late Saturday night. He said he'd been feeding the turkeys some oats and wheat and had a big boar coming in to the feed pretty regular. He sent me this pic in a text. He said he'd come after midnight, hit the feed several times throughout the night and then leave just before daylight.

We decided we'd try him Sunday morning. We've caught plenty of big hogs. Never caught one this quick though. They jumped him off the feed. He ran about 200 yards and stopped in a narrow head of woods to fight. We turned loose at 6. Had the hog loaded 3 of the 4 dogs stapled and were on our way by 7. Good quick hunt. He ended up weighing 270. Definitely a nice change from the shoats and sows we've been catching.
