well we loaded up all weekend long and went hunting. Did good on friday night by only gettin one dog cut  up and caught 6 pigs in about 3 1/2 hours. Then we loaded up sat afternoon after the waurika bay contest and met up with a couple old buddies to hunt with. We turned dogs loose just a lil before dark and after about 30 min got on a pig and bayed him about 550 yds out. We headed in there but it kept on busting then they would shut him down. Finnaly after about a mile walk they shut him down in the river which it about chin high. My pit caught in the river so me and a buddie jumped in and started swimmin. and it was cold. Well it ended up being a boar about 200 lbs and some small cutters. Well he tossed one of my pits around and one of my best pups (Bella) i had that was comin along real good. So after we stuck this pig i started checkin dogs and couldnt find my blue pit or that real good pup of mine anywhere. And by this time it was dark and she is black so i couldnt see anything. I finally found her layin by the river near the pig and she was gutted open real good. I picked her up and took her to the top of the river and cleaned  her up and wrapped her in my jacket and sucked it up and started carrying her back to the truck. Me and my buddies rotated on carring her and finnaly made it. We hauled her to an ol boys house who is real good with dogs and he cleander her up real good and stuck them back in her and gave her some shots. Thought she was goin to make it but she didnt make it through the night. So I lost my good pup that was goin to be real nice. Then I never found my pit bull with my vest and collars on her. So lost a couple good dogs this weekend. RIP BELLA!

So sorry for your dogs. It speaks volumes that even though you knew her injuries were really bad that you still tried your best to save her. Perhaps the bulldog will show up.

Cheers

Prayers sent, sure hate that. You think he got a lung or did she loose too much blood? Probably not a lot that could be done. You guys tried your best.

She was cat x pit and was coming on good at only a year old but was realy rough! The hog hit her right behind the ribs and her intestines were coming out we were able to clean them up get them back in and suture the wound but she didnt make it through the night. We had a cut collar on her but no vest.
