WHAT IS THE BEST WORM MEDICINE TO GET RID OF tAPE WORMS IN A DOG.not vet perscribed.Over the counter at feed stores they are hard to get rid of. I use safeguard ,Ivomec,and strongid .just dont seem to bust the tape worms that good.I am up for any advice.

Equimax horse wormer... it's an ALL IN ONE.  it's got ivermectin and praziquantil in it.  all you need is just about an inch long or about how much you'd put on your toothbrush.

the only other one i know of is valbazen, it's got everything for round worms and tapes  but not heart worms.  if you search on here there's a website (someone's kennel page) that has a ivomec/valbazen mixture that you give all at one dose and is supposed to know out everything.  i've never tried it but i have used the equimax.
