Sunday evening my buddy wanted to hit his protein feeders just before dark. We casted the dogs a few times without any luck. He convinced me to hit one more spot...as I was heading to the house. Making a circle around the small food plot, Bart was hanging his head over the ranger towards the ground. Luke my better winding dog didnt show much. I slowed down and they shot off the ranger and across the small food plot tracking. .75 miles down they were showing bayed on the garmin. I could tell by their excitement he was gonna be a good hog. I was kicking myself in the butt for not bringing both catch dogs. 30 yards away I cut Jack into the bay. The hog was in a small rivine about 5' deep and 5' across...back into a rock ledge. He pitched Jack 3 times that I saw before he made a clean catch. Hog went about 250 lbs and was missing one wetter. That side had a 3" cutter curled back towards his head.   |

It'll make u wonder if we all dont need them dogs, cause I know if u would've put pressure on that big boy theyd be some cut dogs around there. Good catch Heck of a boar
