... with a pistol and garmin. Grin

Been practicing with my .357 Ruger since the beginning of the year and got a Garmin last week so I was ready to try both of them out . Hunted Sunday evening and ran a boar right at a mile down the river before it finally crossed. Ended up calling the dog back because it got dark and I was by myself.

Went this morning at sunrise and bayed this boar in a little thicket about 7:45. From where the dogs jumped off to where they bayed was a hair over 300yds. Slipped in a got a shot from about 20yds. All I can say about the Garmin is wow... and I am sure the dogs appreciate it too. Smiley

Nice choice of weapon! I've been checking one out for quite a few YEARS now but haven't talked myself (girlfriend) into the purchase YET!  laugh
