That is Sad to hear! I'll send a prayer up in hope that they are allowed to continue the baying at Fort Bayou Ranch. Mr Reggie, if you need any help that i might could assist you in, i will be more than glad to help.

well mr.reggie sounds like to me your neighbors want to run your property,so you need to approve of any of their activities as well on theirs! and everyone aposed to your baying needs to boost the local economy dollar for dollar what your event would bring in those three days.i support yall all the way. All i takes is a few tree hugging educated people to try to shut down the good ol country folks.I think hog baying one of the greast things ever. Its a family sport.Just like baseball or any other sport..Maybe they need to shut down football and all other sports.A dog is a man best friend..And there aint nuthing wrong with baying hogs.all the hunters need to stick together or the non hunters are gona take over..And it wont be good..

well said lilwill. try inviting ur neighbors to your event and the city councel members and make it a town event, not just for those that bring their dogs to the bay. as for the animal humane people, take'm to a swamp and let the gators have lunch. the hunters need to stick together or we will be out voted and become puppets.

THIS IS AN ON GOIN ISSUE EVERYWHERE! LIKE I STATED EARLIER ,IF YOUR NEIGHBORS AND EACH COUNCIL MEMBER WOULD DO THE RIGHT THING AND MATCH DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR OUT OF THEIR POCKETS TO ALL THE LOCAL BUSINESS WHAT YOUR BAYIN PARTICIPANTS WOULD HAVE SPENT WHILE IN YOUR COMMUNITY THAT WOULD SPEAK VOLUMES.IF PEOPLE DONT LIKE TO HEAR DOGS BARKING , PIGS SQEALIN ,PEOPLE BEING GOOD TO FELLOW MAN THEN  "THEY CAN MOVE THEIR A$$ TO THE CITY." THEM ANIMAL RIGHTS FOLKS HAVE A CHOICE AS WELL  PAY ME MONTHLY ANIMAL SUPPORT{LIKE CHILD SUPPORT} $500 PER DOG AN HOG ,THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY TOGETHER ANY MORE BECOME LATE ON SUPPORT PAYMENT,BE LABELED DEAD BEAT ANIMAL SUPPORTER AN DO JAIL TIME. It seems like every time a tree hugger wants to make a point they throw the word PIT in there and in the article it said "PIT" hunting dogs. They know how the public feels about pits. Thats how they can make people thats never even been around dogs believe in them because of their bad rep. Hog hunters know thats BS.

If they wanna see a pit, i will bring my G/F's two to their meeting with a three year old leading them in. Its sad , but Its a bad rep that the breed will never get rid of! Dang tree huggers need to mind their own business and stay out of ours!

guys i have watched the video several times, the tree hugger never mentioned pit dogs, she stated  "dog pit against hog"  this meant dog against hog .......NOT PIT DOGS!  THEY FEED OFF OF US NOT PAYIN ATTENTION! hope mr. reggie gets to continue or at least get his neighbors and city council to remburse him for his arena and expenses for hosting a heritage based event! This is a baying I hope to get a chance to go to in the hear future. I see on their website that they already have a new place to hold future bayings. SO once they get things organized again, it looks like I'll have a chance.

Good for them!

The way it reads it makes it sound like a pit dog. I see now what it says but people that dont know what Pit or Pitting means could get the wrong concept.

And I would bet that it was reported that way on purpose to throw a bad light on the whole thing. Just the way the media works.

Thanks you all for the encouragment. Everything is going to be fine our new location is a great facility and in all reality should prove to help our bayings grow even bigger which has got to be good for the sport and all of the local businesses and the sheriff dept along with ms dog hunters asso are behind us 100% . The Gulf coast seafood are donating shrimp for our next bay which will be sometime in june so dont miss it if you can. Once again thanks for all the support.
